HubSpot Property Generator

Describe what you want to track. We'll design the HubSpot custom properties — names, labels, types, dropdown options — and give you the API call ready to paste.

Be specific. The more detail you give, the better the property design.

Free, no signup. 5 generations per day per IP.

How HubSpot custom properties work

HubSpot ships with around 100 default contact properties (first name, lifecycle stage, etc.) but the moment you start syncing data from external systems — chatbot, billing, support — you need custom ones. Designing them well matters: a sloppy property design haunts your CRM forever.

Things this tool gets right

  • Internal name conventions — snake_case, prefixed by source system (e.g. rf_intent_score) so it's clear where the data came from
  • Type/field-type pairing — HubSpot's API requires type and fieldType to be compatible (e.g. enumerations need select or radio); we get this right
  • Property groups — external system properties go in their own group, not buried in contactinformation, so reps can find them
  • Sensible options for enumerations — 2-6 options, not 47

How to use the output

Each generated property comes with the cURL command you'd run against the HubSpot API to create it. You can also just look at the property design and create them by hand in HubSpot's UI — the tool's value is the design, not the import.

After you've created the properties

If you're sending Replyflow data into them: connect HubSpot in Settings → Integrations and map our intent_score, topics, and next_step fields to the new properties.
